Management of design and engineering for 14,000 pallet automated cold storage facility for an international cold-chain logistics operator.
The 50m high structure combined with a 100m long slab created unique structural engineering challenges. So too the -40 degrees Celsius operating environment. The scope also required significant retaining structures (+8m high), as well as battery charging and IT upgrades.
